Andy Warhol once said “I wonder if it's possible to have a love affair that lasts forever.” I think some affairs may indeed last forever-- like the one between Marilyn and JFK. Perhaps their love didn't last. But their affair lives on: people still talk about it today, and possibly will forever.

That affair was the source of my inspiration for this 30x40 drawing. And later developed to a series of silkscreens.

That affair was the source of my inspiration when I created the original drawing in 2012 which is a collage of Marilyn and JFK's faces surrounded by flowers. The following year, I was experiment with method of silkscreen and was inspired again by Andy Warhol's silkscreen works. That's how this series of silkscreens came alive.
